Giving Back This Memorial Day: Greater Together at the VA

At The Great Escape, we believe leisure isn’t a luxury—it’s a source of strength, connection, and healing. That’s why we created Greater Together, our ongoing charitable initiative dedicated to giving back to the communities that inspire us.

This Memorial Day, we’re proud to spotlight a recent donation made to the Jesse Brown Veteran Hospital in Chicago, IL through the Greater Together program. The gift included an exercise bike, a billiard table with table tennis conversion top, and new patio tables with umbrellas—all selected to bring both comfort and vitality to those who have served our country.

From the physical wellness promoted by the exercise equipment to the joy of shared games and outdoor moments, our goal was simple: to help create spaces where veterans could relax, socialize, and recharge.

Memorial Day is a time to honor the courage and sacrifice of those who’ve defended our freedoms. For us, it’s also a reminder to keep serving—by making everyday life more enjoyable for our local heroes.
