Regular maintenance keeps your spa water sparkling, comfortable, and free of unpleasant odors or buildup. Testing your spa's alkalinity and pH weekly ensures a safe and soothing experience. Drain and refill your spa every 4 months to maintain optimal water quality and filtration.
Step-by-Step Process:
- After Each Use: Add 1 tablespoon of Spa Shock per 250 gallons to break down organic particles and maintain clear water.
- Weekly: Use Quick 5 Test Strips to check alkalinity and pH levels. Adjust using Alkalinity Up, pH Up, or pH Down as needed.
- After Frequent Use: Add 1½ tablespoons of Sani Chlor per 250 gallons to prevent odors and foamy water, especially after heavy use.
- Every 4 Months: Drain and refill your spa, and replace the Nature 2 mineral sanitation cartridge to keep your filtration system working at its best.
